Cybertech Acceleration helps UK cybersecurity, AI and forensics companies enter the United States with a forensic differentiator and a commercial message US buyers understand. We position UK cyber and AI companies for US buyers, add an evidence-grade forensic layer to the offer and open the first US rooms.
The United Kingdom cyber ecosystem
The UK hosts one of the largest cybersecurity ecosystems in Europe, with deep talent from government and financial services. Many UK cyber startups hit a ceiling at home and look to the US as the next step.
What usually blocks US expansion
Translating NCSC-grade engineering into US enterprise buyer language
Adapting pricing and sales cycles to US procurement
Meeting US compliance expectations (SOC 2, CMMC, state privacy laws)
Building a US counterpart buyers trust from day one
UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 govern your home data; the UK–US Data Bridge allows transfers to US companies certified under the Data Privacy Framework.
The US–UK income tax treaty reduces double taxation once you operate a US subsidiary.
US buyers will still ask for SOC 2 even if you already hold Cyber Essentials Plus or ISO 27001.

Frequently asked questions
Does Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001 count with US buyers?
ISO 27001 is recognised by many US enterprises, but most still expect a SOC 2 Type II report. Cyber Essentials is little known in the US. Plan for SOC 2 early.
Can a UK company sell to US customers before opening a US entity?
Yes, but enterprise procurement and insurers often prefer a US contracting entity. Most UK cyber firms open a Delaware subsidiary once first pilots turn into contracts.
