The 8-step path we use to take cybersecurity, AI and forensics companies from the UK, Israel, France, Germany, Brazil, Portugal and beyond into the United States.
Pick one US buyer profile and one use case. Run 15–20 discovery calls with US buyers before spending on an entity or relocation.
A Delaware C-Corp (or US subsidiary), a US bank account, a US address and a named local counterpart. US buyers and investors expect all four.
SOC 2 Type I as a minimum for enterprise, CMMC if you touch defense, and a clear map of state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA and others). Document it — buyers will ask.
Logs, chain of custody and provable outcomes turn claims into proof. In US procurement and litigation-heavy industries, this is a differentiator competitors cannot copy with features.
Replace architecture slides with outcomes: risk reduced, cost avoided, audit passed. One-sentence value proposition, US pricing in USD, US case studies.
Annual contracts, per-seat or per-asset pricing, clear pilots with success criteria. Expect higher price points and longer security reviews than in Europe or Brazil.
Warm introductions beat cold outreach. Use accelerators, channel partners (MSSPs, integrators) and portfolio partnerships to land your first 3 US logos.
Hire or relocate once you have repeatable pipeline, not before. A US-based founder or sales lead usually pays off after the first paying customers.
